Machine grinding

At the beginning of this dissertation an overview of grinding technologies is presented. The following chapter presents a selection of grinding machines from databases and manufacturers’ catalogues. At the end, a case study of grinding processes in a small manufacturing company is analysed. It focused on the action of grinding an internal cylindrical area on thin wall housing. The solution is the adaptation of component´s attachment, the adjustment of the working cycle and the dimensional control according to drawings
