Potential of energy production from waste

The main topic of the bachelor thesis is creating energy from the incineration of waste. In the first part, the current situation of waste management of the Czech Republic and other states of the Europian Union is outlined. Then the thesis is focused on waste incineration in waste-to-energy plants and various approaches of energy efficiency evaluation are described. In the second part, energy efficiency with various modes of thermal and electrical energy production is analyzed, using the model of WtE plant. In conclusion, obtained data of energy efficiencies are compared with conventional energy sources
