New advanced milling tools

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of milling and relevant devices. The first part introduces the essential data about milling, the information necessary for specification of the cutting conditions and the form of milling. It also provides the description of types and labelling of milling machines. The second section centres on the milling device assortment of three companies, specifically on slab mills by WALTER AG, Sandvik Coro-mant, Pramet Tools, s.r.o. The final part of the thesis comments upon the rec-ommended usage scope of the machinery produced by the companies men-tioned above
