The purpose of this thesis was to find the optimum calibration temperature to reach the designated breakaway articulation torque and articulation torque of the inner ball joint without altering the production process. The theoretical part of the thesis is concern with the individual components inherent to the functioning of the ball joint. Also described is the equipment necessary to measure the efects of heat on the inner ball joint
