Diagnostic methods for the evaluation of the state of a timber structure

This thesis is focused on the description and evaluation of selected diagnostic methods used for a survey of timber structures in the field. The first part of the thesis describes a structure and characteristics of wood; the other part provides a description of diagnostic methods followed by determination a level of injury and verification material characteristics of the particular element in the timber structure. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the diagnostic methods for the evaluation of the state of timber structures and verification of their application in practice
