This bachelor's thesis deals with reconstruction of the one-generation family house. The family house is a separately standing building with one above ground floor and an unutilized attic. The aim of this thesis is to propose reconstruction so that it can be used as a family house with an office in the future. It is also suggested to extend usage of the unused attic. For that reason present wooden roof trussing will be replaced by new wooden collar beam roof trussing. At the same time the upper edge of the roof construction will elevate. This proposal in the maximum possible range keeps existing masonry constructions. Newly proposed supporting structures are bricked and interior dividing walls are made from gypsum board
