Multi-funkcional building

The bachelor thesis is based on the studio project of residential buildings. The project develops architectural study of multifunctional house on the Milady Horákové street in Brno – Zábrdovice. Projected building site is located between blocks of residential buildings from Art Nouveau. The designed object is connected to the existing neighbouring buildings by means of its height as well with its courtyard greenery. Apartments are oriented to the south – toward the courtyard, therefore very well illuminated, and rather shaded in the noise of intensive street traffic. In underground floor the polyfunctional house is equipped by cafe. Ground floor includes a reception and provides an access to all buildings compartments so as the courtyard, followed by Juran´s hall and IBC centrum. From first to- fourth floor of the northern part there are offices and shops
