The Creative Centre Brno-Cejl

This bechalor's thesis deals with reconstroction and further conversion of former penitentiary in Brno, Cejl to an art and music workshop. The major aim of the project is to establish a well-functioning base for a wide range of artist. Therefore amount of ateliers, studios and theatres are being proposed. In order to obtain more appropriate space for a cafe and gallery, a new dynamic structure was erected and joined to the complex in place of an older extansion. Inner dispositions were rather preserved due to its original manner. However the indoor space was adjusted to its new function
