Add to ORKGThe aim of this bachelor thesis was to design and assessment of the key elements of the supporting structure of the furniture store. Glued laminated timber of GL24h class was designed as the main material of the supporting elements. The construction is symmetry square layout 30x30 m. The roof structure has the shape of a pyramid with a slope of 15°. The top of construction consist of the corner rafters installed on the corner columns. The main reinforcing elements are columns and rungs, which form stiff knee and ensure the stability. Roof cladding is considered of the panels of insulating glass for the upper half and metal tiles for the bottom half of construction for the calculation.
