Commercial policy of Venezuela in the context of internal political changes

The thesis analyses the commercial policy of Venezuela from several points of view. It describes the influence of the structure of economy and the important role of crude oil in trade relations of this country. At the same time, it characterises the specific features of the political regime since 1999 and the changes that took place. This is examined in the context of the left turn that we can observe across Latin America. The thesis also focuses on the change in trade relations and integration tendencies resulting from the left-oriented political orientation of Venezuela
