Evaluation and strategy recommendation of financial management of company Advanced World Transport a.s.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a complex evaluation of financial health and financial management of the company Advanced World Transport a.s. in years 2009 - 2014. This company is mainly engaged in rail freight transportation. The first part of this bachelor thesis is devoted to theoretical aspect. There a variety of techniques and methods that are used for financial analysis and part for strategic analysis will be outlined. The second part focuses on the practical application of these methods to the available financial statements and annual reports. This part first looks at absolute indicators which will follow up with ratios indicators. In the ratios analysis the comparison between Advanced World Transport a.s. and industry will be included. The third part of this bachelor thesis focuses on the final evaluation of financial management of the company and specific recommendations, leading to the improvement of the financial strategy
