The aim of this thesis is to summarize up to date findings concerning globalization of Africa, its effects on the continent, real problem solutions, as well as possible recommendations which could attribute to the acceleration of economic growth. Is this impact positive or negative? The initial chapter partially aims to characterize globalization as such, its basic spheres and manifestations that were used to record the impact of this phenomenon. In the following chapter, a summary of positive as well as negative consequences for the African continent, which were induced by globalization, is given.
