Financing theatres in Brno from public sources

Bachelor thesis Financing theatres in Brno from public sources aims to map out the financial background of the Brno theatre scene based on information obtained from the annual accounts of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, South Moravian Region and the Municipality of Brno. Another source of information are annual reports of choosen theatre institutions. The first part deals with the mapping of cultural policy and political background of public resources financing in connection with the conditions for allocating financial contributions. In the second part, the information gathered is presented to illustrate the selection of specific theatres and compared with performance indicators
