The ATLAS experiment at the LHC at CERN conducts a variety of searches for Dark Matter. A class of typical searches are so-called mono-X searches that are looking at final states with large missing transverse energy ($E_T^{miss}$) and an additional object. This contribution presents an overview of recent results of such searches, mainly focussing on analyses based on the full 2015 dataset of $\sqrt{s}=13\,\text{TeV}$ data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.2\,\text{fb}^{-1}$
