He was accompanied by his wife Jackie Kennedy, the vice president Lyndon B. Johnson, and the vice president's wife Lady Bird Johnson. President Kennedy came to address a meeting of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). The next day the party flew to Dallas, Texas where President Kennedy was assassinated
