Physicists themselves are already considered quite funny or even strange. They are dealing with particles so small that nobody can see them or galaxies so large that nobody can grip them. Normal people are concerned with everything in between. The extremes in the microworld and the macroworld are the starting point for the cartoons. Most of the cartoons can be appreciated by everyone. Some require some basic understanding of physics
