This paper presents an original development methodology for the use of SystemC to model an executable model of a wireless network system. SystemC methodology allows the model to be reconfigurable for extensive early architectural analysis and easy re-mapping to new wireless standards and applications at numerous levels of abstraction. On the other hand network protocols have many complex concurrent and distributed characteristics, thus it is very difficult to be analysed theoretically.
