Precise measurements of jets, photons and W and Z bosons at the LHC test QCD in a new energy regime and for new kinematics, for example at large rapidity intervals and high jet multiplicities. Studies of jet substructure give new knowledge of fragmentation and parton radiation processes. All these hard processes also provide new constraints on the parton densities inside the proton. A summary of these wide-ranging studies is presented
