It ranges from the automobile dominated metropolis like Los Angeles to the pedestrian oriented environment like Boston. Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is in many ways similar to Los Angeles. Its predominant ribbon development pattern is inefficient, fragmented, unfriendly, and unattractive.
