The complexation of the Copper (Il)-Oxidized glutathione system has been studied by potentiometric method, visible and ESR spectroscopies. The metal and ligand concentrations were respectively 2 mM and 8 mM.The major complex at physiological pH, of stoechlometry 1:1, exhibits a glycine-like chelation mode from the two glutamyl residues. The criteria about structural assignments are reexamined on the basis of literature data on the topic. They are in agreement with our assignments
