Titanium oxidation kinetics were studied by a gravimetric method in flowing steam medium at 300-1200°C. Kinetic laws of general oxidation process, scale growth, diffusion oxygen layer formation and hydrogen absorption on metal phase are established. Besides, temperature dependence of rate constants and absorbed hydrogen content in metal, as well as scale phase analysis are determined. Certain aspects of scale formation mechanism and hydrogen influence upon titanium oxidation were studied
