The 2009 LHC run has made it possible to collect an extensive set of beam-based measurements. A good fraction of the LHC magnets, aperture and optics models has been validated with these measurements. However, a few localized optical errors remain. Appropriate corrections are necessary to reach machine specifications and to safely operate the LHC at higher intensities.
