Research on the accuracy of the of the moving objects speed measurements based on Doppler effect is presented. The probabolistic model of random errors was applied. The accuracy of speedometers depending from laser or radio frequancies stability and precision and also from reliability of the determination of the radiation speed is analysed. It was proofed, that radial speed of the moving at low speed objects (for example, cars, ships, planes) could be detected with a significantly better accuracy, than objects moving at high speed (for example, satellites, asteroids).
