The Corneal wound healing results in the formation of opaque corneal scar. In fact, millions of people around the world suffer from corneal scars, leading to loss of vision. This study aimed to identify the key changes of gene expression in the formation of opaque corneal scar and provided potential biomarker candidates for clinical treatment and drug target discovery.
