The article presents data on the prognostic value of ST segment elevation on an electrocardiogram in additional right chest leads V3R-V4R during the acute period of myocardial infarction in patients with inferior wall myocardial infarction. The study included patients with inferior wall myocardial infarction (n=101) aged 34 to 85 years. Elevation of the ST segment in leads V3R-V4R ≥0.5 mV was observed in 35 patients (35%). It was revealed that the ST segment elevation in the V3R-V4R leads is an unfavorable prognostic sign in terms of the risk of arterial hypotension in the acute period of myocardial infarction, heart rhythm disturbances, and hemodynamically significant sinus bradycardia
