High strength low alloy steels (HSLA) are preferred in the automotive industry due to their engineering properties such as high strength, light weight and machinability. In this experimental study, the effects of cutting parameters on diameter change and burr height were investigated by using three cutting speeds (18, 26, 34 m / min) and three feed rate (0.05, 0.075, 0.1 mm / rev) values with TiAlN coated and uncoated HSS drills. Drilling operations were carried out in wet conditions and throughout. The experiments were performed according to Taguchi L18 orthogonal experiment design.
