General Relativity explains with precision the anomalous advance of the perihelion of Mercury, discovered by Le Verrier in 1859. Otherwise, diverse post-Newtonian proposals trying to solve this anomaly, introduce mathematical potentials focused on a finite propagation speed. This paper tries to set some properties that should have any hypothetical gravitational potential suitable with material objects inside a physical universe. If a propagation speed is admitted, this assumption must link its origin, the continuous update, the trajectory, the retarded action and impulse mechanism (transit action) in the final target.
