The aim of this study was to determine the effects of positive thinking traning on self-compassion and life expectancy in mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder of Sabzevar, Iran. This study was semi -experimental and pretest-posttest with control group was used. The statistical population of the study consisted of all mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder of Sabzevar in the academic year 2017-18 that were selected according to eligibility criteria and were assigned to experimental (n = 18) and control (n = 18) groups through simple random sampling.
