We point out that if the fundamental description of Nature involves an enormous landscape, in the presence of light fields, the inflationary universe may evolve as a quantum superposition of multiple vacua. The physical consequences of this picture affect the subsequent evolution of the universe. One possibility is the formation of domain walls after inflation. We examine the constraints that domain wall dynamics can impose on the local properties of the landscape
