Monitoring of air microbiota state of various museum apartments, that is the basic source of spreading of microorganisms able to destroy exhibits or buildings, is the actual problem of nowadays. Indoor air microbiota (quantitative and qualitative composition) of the Lviv historical museum, Ivano-Frankivsk regional art museum and Lviv religion history museum was analysed. It was established that air of most apartments of investigated museums insignificantly populated by microorganisms (their amount did not exceed possible norms).
