In this article the review of decisions on electromagnetic and magnetic gear mechanisms, including for transfer of the torque to tight volumes is presented. Various approaches in design of these mechanisms - analogy to mechanical gears, magnetic systems on the basis of the phenomenon of a magnetic reduction are considered, etc. Comparison of the received devices with mechanical reducers according to mass-volume and other characteristics is carried out. Options of their possible application are given
