Morbidity of children aged 5 to 15 years in the Russian Federation

For more than two past decades, the health of children and adolescents in Russia has persistently deteriorated, as demonstrated both by the official statistical data and results of several studies [1-8]. Various sources of information should be taken into account to determine the health status in different children cohorts: results of preventive medical examination of children conducted at children's clinics and scientific materials of pediatric universities, university departments and research institutes [4].
