MECHANICAL WAYS OF THROMBOPROPHYLAXIS AND THERAPY OF CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY: ACCENT – COMPRESSION THERAPY

The review considers a modern state and historic aspects of the compression use therapy for prevention of thromboembolic complications and therapy of symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency related to chronic vein diseases. Pathogenetic aspects of the therapy by graduated compression, fundamentals of use of mechanical means of prevention and therapy, fundamentals of these methods effect on the state of venous return, movement of tissue liquid are discussed.
