Foreign and domestic studies indicate a high frequency of adverse obstetric and neonatal outcomes with this pathology: premature termination of pregnancy, placental insufficiency, fetal growth retardation, chorioamnionitis, postpartum suppurative inflammatory diseases and other complications.
