The variety ‘Izhevskaya 2’ possesses such traits as high winter resistance, regenerative ability, ecological plasticity, grain and green mass productivity. To realize the variety potential it’s necessary to apply a cultivation technology adapted to definite agro ecological conditions. The article gives the results of long-term researches (2010-2013), the purpose of which was to develop some effective methods of plant care, promoting productivity increase of winter triticale ‘Izhevskaya 2’ in the Middle Pre-Urals.
