Background ― Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is the world's major public health problem. Objectives ― Assessment of metabolic syndrome impact on bone mineral density (BMD) among Saudi menopausal women in Eastern Province – Saudi Arabia. Material and Methods ― It’s a case control study and 380 menopausal Saudi women were selected through stratified random sampling; they are divided into 190 cases with osteoporosis and 190 without osteoporosis.
