BACKGROUND:The risk for obesity-related disorders is proportional to the visceral region and had been observed to be highly related with impaired renal function. In the current study, we aimed to evaluate renal function impairment, according to sex, age, and different status of metabolic body composition. METHODS:We retrospectively collected from the medical records the basic information and metabolic titers of Chinese adults (13,373 men and 10,175 women) who underwent health checkup from 2013 to 2016.
