The link between vitiligo and depression is complex in many ways. Vitiligo predisposes to depression because it is a chronic, unpredictable, without curative treatment that affects the quality of life, especially because of skin damage. This meta-analysis emphasizes the importance of addressing depression in patients with vitiligo in medical practice as well as the predisposing factors of vitiligo that contribute to the further development of depression. There is a need for more studies on this issue
