This article demonstrates research results, while comparing 2 groups of children, age 4-9, in which temporary molars restoration after treatment of chronic fibrous pulpitis were done using different techniques. First group included 64 children, whose 100 molars were restored, using standard metal crowns (manufactured by 3M ESPE, USA). Second group consisted of 53 children, whose 100 molars were restored, using filling materials (Composites, compomers and glass-ionomers.) While screening of children 4 month after temporary molars treatment, condition of teeth was measured, using following criteria: stable restoration, unstable restoration, signs of secondary decay, extraction of tooth due to the periodontal pathology.
