Aim. To analyze in detail the impact of periodontitis on the risk of maxillary sinusitis.Materials and methods. During a systematic review of the literature, publications in the electronic databases PubMed and Google Scholar were studied. Articles that deal with the topic of odontogenic sinusitis, the relationship of periodontal pathology with sinusitis were included.Results. 99 articles were reviewed during the review. After analyzing the literature for inclusion criteria, the total number of publications has become 43.
