APPLICATION OF DISTANCE EDUCATION TECHNOLOGIES TO THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE CORRESPONDENCE COURSE

The article discusses the problems of implementation of distance education technologies to the part-time education in general and foreign language teaching in particular. Although some scientists claim that distance education technologies resemble traditional part-time teaching methods despite the participants being located remotely, there are distinct pecularities that should be taken into consideration.
