Dopamin merkezi sinir sistemi için önemli bir nörotransmitterdir. Dopaminin çok düşük miktrarları bile Şizofreni ve Parkinson gibi sinir sistemi rahatsızlıklarına neden olmaktadır. Dopaminin vücut sıvısı içindeki konsantrasyonunun hızlı ve doğru bir şekilde tayin edilmesi hastalığın teşhisi açısından önemlidir. Bu tez kapsamında yapılan çalışmaların amacı, farklı özellikteki nanomalzemelerin sensör teknolojisinde kullanılabilirliğinin araştırılmasıdır.
