Bu çalışmanın amacı, mastitisli sütlerden etken izolasyonu ve Streptokokların mastitis etiyolojisindeki rollerini klasik kültür yöntemi ile belirlemek, ayrıca izole edilen Streptokok suşlarının moleküler tekniklerle (polimeraz zincir reaksiyonu; PCR) tiplendirilmesi ve moleküler epidemiyolojilerinin belirlenmesini sağlamaktır. Bu tez çalışmasında incelenen 100 süt örneğinin 23 (%23)'ünden Streptococcus spp. izolasyonu gerçekleştirildi. Konvansiyonel metodlarla izole edilen suşların 13 (%57)'ü S. dysgalactiae, 10 (% 43)'u S. uberis olarak identifiye edildi. Örneklerde S. agalactiae suşu bulunamadı. Polimeraz Zincir Reaksiyonu ile aynı örnekleri incelendiğinde izolatlardan 3 (% 13)'ü S. dysgalactiae, 9 (% 39)'u S. uberis olarak belirlenirken ...
