Max10 forms part of an ongoing research project whose focus is to explore ways of setting up alternative means for an audience to engage art projects. Max10 was structured so that it was wholly reliant on audience participation to determine what work was shown. If there was no audience, no participation then no projects would be shown. Max10 consisted of 100 artist films made available on individual show-reels so the audience were given the autonomy to browse through them, select any film they wished to view, and do this for as long as they liked. They could request for specific films to be projected in the large-screen area or view the works at one of four independent viewing areas
