The chapter is devoted to modelling a sample synthetic manufacturing system. Its assumptions are based on a real logistic system and present a highly complex manufacturing system in which there are serial work stations equipped with parallel work stands. In order to make the manufacturing process more fluent there are buffer stores between work stations. The capacity of buffers stores is given. Two operating principles are analysed.
