Viola Hank, with the help of her sisters, gave the old-time livestock men a run for their money and walked off with 1st Prize for the best group of 3 steers among Shorthorns in the Open Class. Viola hails from Crawfordsville, Indiana in Montgomery County. She showed her three steers in the 4-H Club Show and won 1st in the Get-of-Sire Class. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irl Hank, Viola was also the winner of the Montgomery County Health contests. Left to right: Lucretia, age 20; Hazel, age 18; and Viola, age 15.
