House In Which Abraham Lincoln Was Born

Picture of the log cabin where Abraham Lincoln was born.Information included with the photograph states: "An original picture of the Lincoln Birthplace Log Cabin taken over one hundred years ago and kept as an heirloom in the family of the grandfather of Dr. Abel Wilson Atwood of Worcester, Mass. Dr. Atwood was born in southern Illinois in a log cabin. He recalls seeing the original Lincoln cabin as pictured here at the original site in Hodgenville, Kentucky long before it was placed in the temple-like structure where it is now protected and preserved.
