This publication documents a multidisciplinary event – comprised of art exhibitions, a film/video 46, a craft exhibition, guided tours, a presentation on the quality of urban life in Quebec City and a conference – presented in various locations throughout Quebec City. In their introduction to this inaugural Manifestation internationale (2000), Caron and Daigle outline the event’s central theme: ornamentation’s relationship to beauty and symbolism. The publication also includes: a map of venues; 46 of events; brief descriptions of various events; and a list of exhibitions. Texts in French and English
