Threshold

Catalogue to accompany a group exhibition composed of installations by eight artists from Canada and abroad. Dompierre’s description of walking through the exhibition highlights emotional and conceptual aspects of the works. Her analysis of the artists’ use of architectural space draws attention to how cyberspace opens space beyond the physical/material. Murray outlines formal and conceptual characteristics of the works, while situating the curatorial theme of the threshold within the contexts of poststructural philosophy and psychoanalytic theory.
