El Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas (MCERL) se ha convertido en un elemento articulador de las políticas de enseñanza, aprendizaje y evaluación de lenguas en el entorno europeo. En él, se describen los niveles de competencia que se estando utilizando para valorar el conocimiento que un usuario tiene de cualquier lengua.
